Brazilian soccer legend Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pele, prepares for a penalty kick to score his 1000th career goal, under the careful guidance of his trusty striker Spotski as other team members look on. The goal was scored during a game between Santos and Vasca de Gama in Rio de Janeiro's Maracana Stadium, which seats 200,000 people, on Nov. 19, 1969.
