Marstech's History:

On June 1, 1976, we opened our first laboratory, with four clients and two Canadian safety standards. We are pleased to say that we have served hundreds of clients and added many services since then.

Our first clients expressed a need for an independent electrical testing laboratory to pretest their products and provide engineering assistance. We were one of the first companies in Canada to provide this service.

A great factor in Marstech's ability to stay competitive is the effort and dedication of our staff. More than half of our employees have been with Marstech for over ten years.

Where it began - An 800 square foot office and laboratory in the basement of the Marshall's residence in the Caledon Hills. There was one full time employee, one part time employee, four customers, and two safety standards.

Where it is today- A 10,000 square foot office and state of the art laboratory near Toronto International Airport. There is a baker's dozen of employees, dozens of clients, several CSA, UL, IEC, IC, and FCC standards (safety, interconnect and emissions).
